Many art organizations say, Art is for Everyone, but don’t always focus on delivering that. At the Piqua Arts Council we genuinely believe this and we’re working towards creating events that bring the patrons in and let them get hands on - and so, Art 4 Everyone was born. With art stations of various mediums led by local creatives, each containing art-learning opportunities for all, every attendee will be able to practice a different discipline of the arts, with the freedom to experiment with these various art forms.
In 2023, the event will be hosted as a 2-part series — a 4 Kids experience as well as an After Dark event, with age-appropriate activities fitting for each part. Everyone has an opportunity to be an artist at Art 4 Everyone.
There’s no doubt that our passion lies in supporting local artists. Whether it’s through offering affordable workshops led by significant artists from all over the nation, hosting the largest non-juried art show in the Miami Valley, or premiering a documentary series that highlights local artists, we’re committed to creating opportunities for creatives in and around Piqua. And we don’t plan on stopping there. In furthering our mission, we've created this awards program to benefit local creatives of all disciplines looking to further their artistic pursuits. Whether it's through supplies, professional development or funding a project or two, we are here to support you. Apply today!

Piqua Arts Council partners with local restaurants in hosting Community Nights and Dine & Donates, supporting PAC. During the evening of each Community Night, a portion of the restaurant proceeds is donated to the Piqua Arts Council. Each night typically brings live entertainment from local musicians, an art exhibit and/or demonstrations by local artists. In 2022, we held 2 Community nights: one at Condado Tacos in Beavercreek and one at Moeller Brew Barn at their Troy location.

There’s a big misconception that creatives can’t thrive in rural communities. From the beginning they face a lot of adversity with people telling them they won’t be able to make it and so they give up on the opportunity. But that isn’t how we see the situation. We see creatives every day making a living in and around Piqua and we want to celebrate these individuals that didn’t let life dim their sparkle. We want to celebrate the creatives and show how that arts have impacted their lives and shaped them into the individuals they are through a series of short documentaries. Join us in learning about our local artists!
Utilizing the office space at 427 N. Main St, the Piqua Arts Council started a new program years ago, centered on creating a space for members to share their artistic creations. Any member of PAC has the opportunity to display work in the gallery. Novice artists to professional artists are all welcome with artwork being rotated quarterly. The gallery is open weekdays from 10am to 4pm and for special events. In April of 2013, Piqua Arts Council and Riverside of Miami County teamed up for a permanent display in the PAC Members’ Gallery. Riverside of Miami County has 20 plus works of art from their consumers on display in the gallery and will rotate the pieces throughout the year. The display features depictions of famous paintings to original works of art and promises to be one of the most heartfelt exhibits in the area.
