Introducing Boogie for the Arts – Coming in 2026
In 2026, we’re giving Grown-Up Prom a fresh new identity—Boogie for the Arts! While the spirit of fun, community, and celebration remains, this reimagined event will place an even stronger spotlight on performative arts. Throughout the evening, guests can look forward to a dynamic lineup of performances from dance and poetry to other surprise acts that showcase the incredible creativity within our community.
Of course, we’re keeping one of everyone’s favorite parts: the dance floor. Guests will have plenty of time to show off their own moves and celebrate together in true PAC style. Boogie for the Arts continues our commitment to creating accessible, engaging, arts-centered events where showing up supports the mission—and having fun is guaranteed.
Grown-Up Prom
2025 marked the very first year of Grown-Up Prom: A Night in the Arts, and it was an unforgettable debut! Designed as PAC’s playful, community-centered fundraiser, this adults-only prom night invited guests to enjoy music, dancing, and creative surprises—without the pressure of tuxedos or formal gowns. Attendees enjoyed caricature portraits, a prom-themed speed-painting experience, a nostalgic photo booth, and a lively dance floor lit by sparkling disco balls.
Held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the historic Fort Piqua Plaza, the event ran from 7–10 PM and drew a fantastic crowd. As a fundraiser, it was a strong success—we raised over $2,500—and just as importantly, we connected with many community members we don’t typically see at our other events. This inaugural year set the tone for a unique, joyful celebration where creativity and community came together in a big way.
